Kitchen Remodel
This remodel was designed for a couple in Boulder, Colorado. The new design was able to create a space where they could create special moments within the kitchen.
This renovation is all about creating a modern, functional kitchen that complements Steve and Carol Campbell’s lifestyle while embracing their love for nature. Since Carol is passionate about cooking, the design prioritizes ample counter space and efficient storage solutions to keep everything organized and within reach. To enhance the warm and inviting feel, natural wood finishes and earthy tones will be incorporated, bringing a sense of tranquility and connection to the outdoors.
For their daily needs, a kitchen island will provide a convenient space for informal meals and casual gatherings. However, since they also enjoy hosting their children and grandchildren, the kitchen needs to be spacious enough to accommodate family gatherings comfortably. To achieve this, removing the wall between the kitchen and dining area will create an open-concept design, allowing natural light to flood the space and making it feel brighter and more expansive.
The overall goal of the renovation is to strike a perfect balance between practicality, comfort, and aesthetic appeal—ensuring their kitchen is both efficient for everyday use and welcoming for larger gatherings.
